Is it me, or is there a lot more combating in the playoffs this year? In years past, lots of teams would not even dress their "ruffian" (aka fighter) in the playoffs. Rather they 'd choose for a gamer that offered them a better chance at scoring a difficult objective.
After viewing a few of these video games with my kids (ages 9, 6 and 4), I couldn't assist feeling a bit conflicted. I understand why battling exists in hockey. And I'm not going to turn this post into a dispute over whether or not fighting ought to be permitted. It's been a part of the game because the start and I don't think it's ever going away. Unless Roger Goodell becomes the commissioner some day.

I was able to witness incredible firefights and distinct strategies. I saw great Sportsmanship throughout the day that allowed everyone to have a good time. The most seasoned gamers were teaching some of the more recent gamers what to do and teaching them how to be much better. I saw gamers congratulating each other on excellent shots and excellent relocations.
I take part with the kids. Some of you who are Seinfeld fans might remember the episode when Kramer signs up with a children's karate class and dominates them happily, but there is an upside with this. Physical education was almost my favorite activity growing up so I am extremely enthusiastic. I design good behavior, like passing and complying with colleagues. I kick and throw the ball high which the more youthful kids enjoy. The kids delight in contending against me. If among them outplays me, their pleasure, the smile on their face is quite funny to see.
Not Precisely Good Sportsmanship Among the main lessons that I use sports to teach my kids is sportsmanship. I'm always informing them to treat their teammates and challengers with respect. Do not rub it in the other group's face if you score. Well, punching your challenger in the face, is kinda even worse than rubbing a goal in his face.
